Stefan Kosmala-Dahlbeck, age 17, is a recent graduate of San Clemente High School and will be starting Viola Performance studies at University of California, Los Angeles, in the Fall.  Stefan was Concertmaster of the San Clemente High School Symphony Orchestra for four years, and will be performing with Milllenial Choirs and Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in July 2019 as Assistant Principal Violist (with his grandfather, Jerzy Kosmala – Principal Violist).  Stefan has been a student of his Grandfather, Dr. Jerzy Kosmala, a world renowned Violist, since age 3.   Stefan has performed on two Continents, including concerts in the prestigious Lancut Concert Hall in Poland, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Meyerson Hall in Dallas, Strathmore Concert Hall in Washington D.C; the Los Angeles Forum, Segerstrom Hall, and the Kodak Theatre.  Stefan performed in the Emmy award winning recording of “Dream On”, performed back-up vocals for Aerosmith, performed at the 84th Academy Awards, and has performed in five record setting recordings with the Millennial Choirs and Orchestras.  Stefan has performed with the Dana Point Symphony, Pacific Symphony Orchestra, the Long Beach Symphony, and in numerous chamber music performances. A founding member of the Triton Trio, Stefan has been a state finalist in the VOCE competition (2015-2019, winning second place in the 2019 state finals) and ASTA competition, as well as a winner of the Saddleback Concerto Competition. Stefan has been featured on America’s Got Talent as a part of the OC Music and Dance group and is a winner of the Orfeo International Music Competition in Vipiteno, Italy. Stefan is also a composer and an aspiring pop artist.
